Our facilities include equipment from the finest manufacturers of professional audio gear. Through the use of today’s technology, we are able to provide the highest quality content for our customers. Our resources allow detailed, professional music recordings, as well as dialogue, scoring, and sound design for film and games. Tracking
Recording your band in an acoustically treated environment with professional recording equipment is expected by fans, no matter what level you’re at in today’s market. Not only do large record labels want an amazing recording from their signed artists, but from potential future artists as well. Making sure that your music comes across clean and professional is certainly a huge step towards furthering your career as a professional musician.
Mixing
Mixing is the perfect stage for bridging the gap between creativity and technical ability. At DRA Studios, we think we’ve found the right balance to improve upon just about any work without taking away the life of the song. The music needs to be able to breathe to feel lively, much like we do. DRA utilizes the highest quality hardware/software to make each part of a song have it’s own “space” in the mix, including: panning, EQ, compression, and other dynamic/time-based effects. This results in a final product that we can be proud of, and your fans can enjoy.
Mastering
While we don’t claim to be a mastering studio, everyone at DRA Studios has had experience in the mastering audio in the field. Basic mastering can be packaged with your mixing for an even more radio ready album, as well as preparation for multiple formats (MP3, CD, etc.) We really recommend another skilled set of ears to work on your mix before distribution, so if you have the budget and wish to go to a professional mastering engineer with your project, we’d be more than happy to provide you with some of our favorites. DRA Studios will work directly with any mastering engineer to get them the files needed to properly master your work. If you trust in our skills and experience with mastering, please feel free to let us know at any point in the process and we can add it on.
Songwriter? Rapper?
If you write your own music but only play guitar and sing, we can help you out! At DRA Studios, we are enthusiastic musicians as well. Instrumentation can be added to any track to flesh out a demo into a full song. We work with artists to add parts needed for each song, from strings to horns to percussion. We will also create a backing track for anyone with a rap or lyrics they want to record, but don’t have music to back it up. DRA Studios can work with you during the tracking process or before mixing your track depending on the situation. If you’re really eager for a track, we can even arrange music ahead of time. We are constantly working on instrumental music for films, TV, etc. as well.
Working Online
The internet allows us to work quickly and conveniently with artists and labels anywhere in the world. We utilize tools such as FTP, Dropbox, Bitcasa, and Paypal to get our work done. These services cover all bases and let us work with whatever our customers are most comfortable with. Once your track has been mixed (and mastered, if you choose) we can quickly get you the final product and you can make a payment directly to our Paypal account. If you prefer to use another form of file transfer, just let us know! Like the mix, but want to make one small change? DRA Studios offers three free recalls of the mix to get it to sound just right.
